Just arrived home from the church annual Advent dinner......catered, no cooking nor dishes to wash on the part of our church women.
Oooooh, it was way too good! Everything was made from scratch other than one dessert. I ate waaaaay too much, waaaaaay more than I needed. What is it about a relaxed and happy atmosphere that increases my intake of food and contributes too many calories to my diet?? What IS that???
But I did one thing right.
To be certain I wasn't too full for it at the end of a big turkey dinner, I ate dessert first!
And I highly recommend it!!
