Yippee! Success!

I had fun working at the raffle table at the seniors' home tea party this afternoon. Lots of our parishioner ladies were working there and that made it even more fun.

When I was through there I did decide to walk home. I took the shortcut my husband told me about. It cut off between three and four blocks, plus it gave me the opportunity to walk over piles of loose rock, gravel and gaping holes in deteriorating asphalt surfaces. Learning again to balance on rough terrain is confidence building.

Now it is time to make dinner and help get my husband ready to go to his church vestry meeting this evening. O happy day!
