Good News on the Medical Front

I have just returned from a successful doctor's appointment for follow up on my lab tests. The A1C is down, back to where it has been for the past 2 years or more. Exercising better again has been successful!  YAY!  AND my doctor has decided to stop testing every 3 months.  Instead I will do a full lab work up every 6 months starting next February.  That will eliminate the miserable drive through winter weather in November and not mess up our holidays for lab tests in the spring.  Flying pretty high right now!

I returned to find in my mailbox the insurance forms my specialist needed to answer and sign for me.  I will put them in the mail to the insurance company after the long weekend and HOPE that they now have sufficient information to reimburse me for that expensive injection I had in July.

Now all I need is a phone call from the optical clinic to say that my husband's glasses are ready and we can take a breather until I can locate and see a local dentist....and start a whole new round of  financial and medical insurance woes. hahaha
