Me and My Shovel, Waltzin’ Down the Avenue.....

....or at least we would have, had we been able to FIND said avenue under the nearly 30cm of snow that fell prior to 7pm. Instead, me ‘n’ my shovel settled for digging out from under.

There was so much snow up against the back door I barely managed to push it open. Once I actually got outside though, I spent nearly two hours digging, pitching, slipping, tossing, scraping and having the time of my life. haha I really love snow!

We have had another 10cm of snow since I came back inside and the back doorway is plastered shut with snow again, but at least I will have 30cm less to shovel in the morning than if I hadn’t shoveled tonight.

All highways leading in and out of our fair city are closed due to ice, drifting snow and zero visibility.  Since Saskatchewan rarely closes the highways no matter the weather, the roads must be impassable!

This is what I call a spring storm! YES!!

I do enjoy the storms in spring because the snow and ice are relatively short lived, although this dump will be with us for at least a week until the temperatures start to get above zero again. It has been a hoot to watch this one and it will be a quiet night as the street traffic is nearly nil right now. YAY! You just be in the throes of early spring there. Hope it is a good one for you guys.

We are still buried in snow and it's-9 this morning but we are supposed to be double digits by the weekend ๐Ÿ˜€๐Ÿ˜€

Sorry you are buried as well! ๐Ÿคฌ
We will also be in the double digits by tomorrow night, but they are the minus ones (-21C), rather than the plus ones. Regina DOES get spring at some point....I think...... haha.
