Is there anything more lovely and refreshing than the sound of rain at the end of a warm summer day? I love it! It is happening right now as I write.
First there was a light drip, drip, drip and then more of a dripdripdripdrip and then a PLOP....PLOP....PLOP...... The air outside is cooling off nicely for a good sleep to be in order tonight. I haven't slept more than a couple of hours a night for nearly a week and it is taking a toll.
Tonight though I don't really want to fall asleep right away. I want to listen to the cozy sound of the falling rain......aaaaaahhhhh............zzzzzzzzzzzzz
