The latest update came in late last night. Carol is now medically stable, no more dialysis, the tube to the carotid artery has been removed so sleeping will be easier, more comfortable. However she is very weak between the full body slam of the illness and the subsequent weeks in bed. The medical team wants to have her moved to a short term rehab facility until she regains her strength. It is going to be a long, long road for the rest of her recovery, but after nearly losing her the family and friends are so very grateful for the hope of a full recovery.
