The End of Another Era

Our very first parish church was closed several months ago and yesterday it was deconsecrated as it has been sold.  It was certainly not a surprise that the tiny and ever shrinking congregation was unable to keep it going any longer, but still, seeing the photos of the building that were sent to us yesterday by a friend there, made us feel kind of sad.  Good-bye St. Mary's.  You gave us a good start to this crazy priesthood life.
