Of course our travels this week are taking place during an intense heat wave! It is covering the prairies. There is no escaping the heat....except in our air conditioned vehicle and in our air conditioned hotel room....HALLELUJAH!
Since it is +36C at home and will be for two more days, and since we have no A/C in our suite, this trip definitely is happening at the best possible time for us. Wow, I am so grateful.
Mom is looking and feeling great. It is wonderful to see her this happy and content. We ran errands today and had a nice visit in her suite as well. Tomorrow is picnic day...Lord willing....
